A Few After Thoughts from the Womens Conference in Scranton, Pa/Part 3

Hello Ladies. I am praying that what I share in part 3 will encourage your heart once again to realize, that you are much more in God than you believe. That you are a threat to the enemy of our souls. I pray that this gets so deep down into your spirit, that nothing and that no one can take it away from you.

In the trilogy of Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King, there is a scene which as women, I want us to go to and learn from it. It is almost the last scene of the movie. King Theoden of Rohan has a niece named Eowgn, who has gone to battle with her uncle. She trieds to look like a man and her uncle does not know that she has come with him and his army. The Witch King of Angmar comes to the scene of the battle, fights her uncle and mortally wounds him. Eowgn sees what has happened to her uncle and she rushes to his defense. She says, "I will kill you if you touch him." The Witch King replies taking Eowgn by the throat, "You fool, no man can kill me. Die now." Opps, big mistake!!! Then, and this is my favorite scene of all time, Merry stabs the Witch King from behind and the Witch King shrieks and falls to his knees. Eowgn rises from off the ground and pulls her helmet off of her head and her hair falls over her shoulders. She then declares these words, "I AM NO MAN." She then thrusts her sword into the Witch Kings helmet and twists, he shrieks and implodes. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!! Now let me show you why the enemy is so afraid of you as a woman.

Remember in the first two lessons, we were going over the fact that God wants us women to reach our destiny in Him. That when God created the heavens and the earth and He created Adam and Eve, that He saw that it was good! We are not an after thought, or just another creature added to creation!!! Also remember that it was Adam and Eve who had communion with Abba in the garden. That both of them were equal in the sight of God and that God desired a relationship with both of them. Eve could have her own relationship with God apart from her husband. Yet neither one felt threatened by the other. God is an equal opportunity God. There was perfect unity.

We as women all know the story well of what happened in the garden. Satan came and deceived Eve and she ate of the fruit first and we have been whipped with that by the church since the beginning of time. That religious spirit has left many women feeling less than equal in anything and always feeling like they can't hear anything from God for themselves. Just a little side note. Oh by the way, why do we always think it was an apple she ate?

Genesis 3:6 says, "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she gave some to her husband, and he ate." Amplified Version

Now lets go back to our original verse that got all of this started. I want us to see why we are always being threatened by discouragement, abuse, depression etc. Why the enemy is always trying to keep us from our destiny, whether in the workplace, in your home, in your church, among friends.

Genesis 3:15 says, "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel. Amplified Version

Remember when we started this journey, I shared about an experience I had on the computer with a Cult member at 3:00 a.m. in the morning, who demanded I do things his way or else. And how that as I laid in bed thinking about this conversation with this cult member, God spoke these words to me, "satan knows scripture better than you do and he believes it." Again it was a slap in the face, but stirred up something inside that needed to be stirred. If satan can get to the woman through whatever means, than the seed will not be produced. In others words, our destiny will not come forth. Satan is trying to destroy the seed that God has planted in us for destiny.

We as women have a purpose and a calling in God. But, the enemy knows that if he can keep us down about circumstances that are in our lives and make us feel like things will always be this way, he has won. I know some of you have had promises in God that still haven't come to pass. I know I do. When I'm fighting discouragement in a situation, satan always comes with, "hath God said?" If I allow myself to let that seed of doubt grow in my spirit, it will crush out the seed that God has planted in my garden of purpose and destiny.

As I began to study out Genesis 3:15, I came to the word bruised. I looked it up in the strongs and here is what it says, and this is why the enemy is sooo afraid of us. Bruise is from the Hebrew word, dah-kaw'. It means this- its a primitive root to crumble, transitively to bruise (literally or figuratively): to beat to pieces, break (in pieces), bruise, contrite, crush, destroy, humble, oppress and smite. Ladies, God has called us to be women who crush the head of satan. To see his kingdom be crushed and broken to pieces. God has given us that honor and if we as women realize this and it become real to our spirits, we have the enemy on the run. Since Adam and Eve the enemy has done everything in his dominion to see us as woman crushed and broken, knowing that if we get a grip on this verse he would be in big trouble.

When this verse and studying it hit my spirit, I immediately became a warrior. How can we lose with God giving us the command or the assignment. We are not called to constantly be walked over or used, but to walk into the plan and destiny of God for our lives. Like Abba said, "satan knows the bible and he believes it." He knows what his end is going to be and is doing everything he can to keep us oppressed, depressed, discouraged, blind to the fact that we are called to something greater. That is to see him completely destroyed and we as women fulfil our destiny. God has called us to victory in every area of our life. Some of you are facing unreal obstacles, but don't let them keep you under the hand of the enemy. Cry out to God and watch what He will do on your behalf. Your not called to be a survivor, but a conqueor. Be like Eowyn in the Lord of the Rings, the return of the King. Stand up to the enemy and tell him, I am not a man I am a woman. Then take the sword of the spirit that God gives you and smite the enemy in whatever circumstance your in. Take back what belongs to you, whether its your family, or finances, or healing physically or spiritually.

Psalms 68:11 says, The Lord gives the word (of power); the women who bear and publish (the news) are a great host. Amplified Version

That doesn't sound like defeat to me. If God can raise up an army of women who know they have a destiny in God, and realize who they are in Him, the kingdom of satan is going to tremble because they will know their time is short.

So what are you facing that seems literally impossible to see victory in. I challenge you, to read Genesis 3:15 and ask the Lord to make it real to you, as to what He is saying to you personally in your situation. We as women are not called to defeat but to victory.

Abba, make this real to each woman who reads this. I ask you to let the water of the word pour over this seed and then protect it from the heat of the sun or drought. Keep the birds of the air from steeling what is theirs as this seed grows. I ask you to encourage each one and even though their circumstances that at times seem to bring them to the brink of defeat, let them know that they are not called to destruction, but to victory. Let something arise in their spirit and let them become the warrior that you've intended them to be. Where they can look at their circumstances and say to satan, "I am not a man, I am a woman." And Abba, you remind him of the verse in Genesis 3:15 that he knows so well. To see the head of satan crushed and destroyed. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

A Few After Thoughts from the Womens Conference in Scranton, Pa/Part 2

Good morning, afternoon or evening. Remember what they say, "it is 5:00 somewhere." :) Hope your having a great day!!! I pray what I share will encourage those who are discouraged with no hope and for those also who are encouraged, but need a multi vitamin for the day.

On Monday we shared the scriptures on how that the enemy is out to destroy us as women and to keep us from the destiny that God has for us. How as women, we are a threat to him and his purposes on the earth.

Lets go back to Genesis 3:15 shall we, and look at it a little further today.

Genesis 3:15- And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heal. Amplified Version

My husband Bill and I have been involved with two situations overseas, that has opened our eyes to understanding the above verse in a new way. Bill has been working with people who have DID and SRA for quite sometime. But last October the door was burst wide open. To make a long story short, we got involved with an occult situation that was way over our heads, but it was Abba's purpose for all this to happen and we have been learning a great deal.

One morning around 2:30, I was talking to a young lady overseas trying to help her through an incredibly awful situation where torture is involved. Suddenly a man comes on and demands that I get Bill for him. Well first of all, those are fighting words. So I said, trying to remain calm, "who is this please?" He got back on and once again demanded that I get Bill and get him now!! I could feel my anger starting to rise inside and that is never good in these kinds of situations. I gently said, actually I typed, "my husband is sleeping and I won't wake him up. He has had a busy day." Well let me tell you, that didn't fly at all. He then started to threaten me and demand this and that. I finally said, " you are talking to the wrong woman and if you are threatening me its not going to work." Well he returns with, "women are to be dominated and controlled and told what to do." Oh boy, that was all I needed. I knew I had better get off in a hurry, so once again in capitol letters I said, "YOU ARE TALKING TO THE WRONG WOMAN.!!!!! Then I left the site.

As I was laying in bed, my stomach was in knots and I was seething inside by what he had said. What he said really struck a cord in me and I wondered why I was reacting so strongly inside. Bill has a saying, that when the response far out ways the actions in a given situation, that we need to check out our hearts and ask Papa God what is going on. I started praying and asking why this so upset me. What was the problem? Then as clearly as I have ever heard the voice of Abba before, He said, "when are you going to realize that the enemy knows scripture better than you and not only does he know it, he believes it." Wow, talk about a slap across the face! I sat up in bed and began to ponder what He had just said to me, realizing, that it was so true. We don't really believe His word or know it. Of course, the enemy always quotes the letter of the word and never gives the spirit of the word. He does quote it well and accurate. We have seen that time and time again from overseas.

As I continued to pray, the Holy Spirit spoke and said, "make sure you read the first three chapters of Genesis tomorrow. You will find a key." Next morning as I began reading Genesis chapter 1&2, I became aware of so many things, which began to set me free inside from years of spiritual abuse as a woman.

1. That man and woman were created equal. That one did not rule over the other. That in the sight of God they were considered equal and were in unity one with the other, submitting one to the another. I didn't see anything about men dominating women or for that matter women ruling over men. They were as one.

Read Genesis 1: 26-31

2. That we as women were not a mistake or an after thought, and created just because Adam was lonely and needed a help meet. God saw every thing He had made and "behold it was very good." God said that about us as women. He was pleased at the way He had built us. He had a purpose for our lives besides having children, cleaning house, cooking meals, etc. Not that those things are bad. As women we usually love doing those things that make our families happy. But that is not all we are called to do. We have a destiny apart from all of that. HE longs for relationship with us.

3. Adam and Eve had fellowship with God together. One wasn't more intellectual than the other or more spiritual. They both heard from God and walked with Him in fellowship in the Garden of Eden. Its amazing how many women believe that only their husbands can hear from God for them. The whole book of Song of Solomon is God relating to His bride. Speaking to her and wooing her. We can have a personal relationship with Abba apart from our husbands and we can hear from Him if we listen. We can have a relationship to Abba apart from our leaders in the church. God relates to all of us in different ways. I have 4 sons. When growing up, they all related to me in a different fashion. Daniel my first born, was quiet and observed a lot and was very meticulous about certain things. Stephen was always concerned about the needs of others and usually went to help the underdog. Sometimes a good thing and sometimes a bad thing. Philip was my spontaneous one. Always humorous and living for the moment. The fourth Joseph, loved music and had all the characteristics of the other 3. None of them were the same. They may have looked the same in some respects, but not the same in character. Each had their own relationship with me and their father. All were in a different way. If that is the case, what makes it different with our relationship with Abba Father? He made us women all differently and He desires His own personal relationship with us. God created us and HE said that HE did a great job!!!! My husband always says, that men were created from the dust of the earth, but that God built women. Woot woot! Love it!!

So we go back to where all this started. Are we going to believe God or the enemy satan? Remember in chapter 3 of Genesis the famous phrase, "hath God said?" Are we going to begin to believe that we were made for a purpose a destiny, or are we going to continue to feel second rate, that were not worth anything, that this is the way life is and there is nothing we can do about it but just accept it. That it is the mans position to dominate and control instead of lovingly caring for us and walking side by side in unity. Sometimes ladies that can be a hiding place for us. We hide behind our mate and take on the abuse, or just walk day by day doing the same old things, never feeling fulfilled. Do we do that, because then we don't have to own up to any responsibility on our part? We all need to examine our hearts and honestly see what is our motives. God is lovingly asks us to come by His side and walk with Him, as He did in the Garden of Eden. He wants to communicate to us our self worth and how important we are to what He plans ahead in His kingdom. Do we want to choose to be concubines or His wife? You know a concubine has all the benefits, but not His name or relationship. If you have Jesus, you have it all!!!!!

Jesus thank you that you love us so much that your willing to continue to woo us to yourself. That your not harsh or cruel. Even when things don't seemingly go the way we would like, you have a much better plan in mind that goes along with our makeup and who we are. That you don't take away without replacing something better in our lives. Thank you that you created us women all differently and that we are not just a second thought, but that you knew exactly what you were doing and what we were designed for in your Kingdom. Jesus I ask once again, that you will bring peace to those who are in difficult situations and that you will come in some way to reassure them that you care very much about them and what they are facing. That you are very much a reality and not just a story. I love you Jesus and I thank you, for helping me to share what was on my heart today. May it sink way down deep in all of us I pray. In your precious, precious name, Amen.

A Few After Thoughts from the Womens Conference in Scranton, Pa. 2010/Part 1

Since coming home from the conference called "Freedom From The Curse", at which we had an awesome time, the Lord has been provoking my heart with several thoughts.

As I was reading Chapter 3 of Genesis I came to verse 14 which I have read many many times. But this time, I saw something I'd never seen before.

Genesis 3:14- And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life. KJV

As I read about the serpent eating dust all the days of his life, I realized that not only was God speaking about the dust of the ground, but also about humanity.

Genesis 2:7- And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. KJV

As I pondered this thought, I realized that especially as women, the serpent is constantly wanting to destroy or devour us.

Genesis 3:15- And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise his heel.

How many times has the enemy come to you and bruised your heel to the point, where your spiritual walk was affected? Bruised your walk through family and friend relationships, through abuse, through finances, through broken promises, through sickness, and the list goes on. You realized that your "spiritual feet" were hurting to the point of literally not being able to walk. You might have started out with limping that was not noticeable even to you. But then it got to the point where you did notice it and so did your family and friends. Finally you couldn't walk any longer and just gave up on God and life itself. Family and friends tried to help you to a "spiritual podiatrist" for healing, but some of them were the very ones that bruised you knowingly or unknowingly.

First of all Woman of God, realize that the enemy is out to make sure that you never enter into the destiny that God has for you. He has been out to destroy you from the beginning of time and that you are a threat to him and his purposes on this earth. The Lord spoke to me about 3 months ago, through an incident that my husband and I have been walking through since October of 2009, which I will go into more tomorrow.

Read this verse and ponder it.

Genesis 3:15- And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel. Amplified Version

Papa God, please be with these women who are so bruised in their walk with you. Let them remember what you told me through a very dark time in my life.

Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Amplified Version

Jesus in your precious name I speak peace to each and every troubled heart. Father still the waters that are making them feel like they are going down for the 3rd time. That there is no hope for them. That their situation is always going to be like this. Papa if you can restore me, you can restore anyone. I love you and I thank you that you hear our request and that your ever interceding for us as woman. In your awesome, awesome name. Amen

See you tomorrow and remember, their is always a rainbow after the storm. Rainbows are a symbol of promise. Go back to the promises God has made with you and remind Him of them. Besides, He loves to hear your voice!!
